Oversaw all phases of Leah Rosenberg’s artist residency at Local Language, including artist selection, scheduling, budget management, and exhibition planning. Provided curatorial support through collaborative writing, creative direction, with ongoing consultation on fabrication and material experimentation.
During the residency, Rosenberg developed a vibrant body of work centered on color as an active agent of emotion, memory, and place. Drawing from her practice of layering, accumulation, and gesture, the resulting pieces included multi-surfaced paintings and sculptural works that invited viewers into an immersive and sensory experience. With an emphasis on playful interaction and material process, the exhibition celebrated color as a dynamic, lived experience—one that accumulates meaning through repetition, presence, and joy.
